Hey, it’s Mipha! I drew this as a test to see how I would “color” Mipha in black and white.

I’m honestly still so impressed by Breath of the Wild for making an enemy as memorably scary as the Guardians. Like, I know they get easier later on and you start grinding them for parts nonchalantly after a while, but you spend the whole first half of the game terrified as FUCK of these things. Their designs are so cool but also so freaky with their weird robo-spider-legs and that way they crawl about, the way their whole top half lights up red when they spot you, the horrible whirr noises they make, that really unsettling single eye. The goddamn LASER. And that MUSIC. It’s a fantastic piece of battle music but as soon as you hear the intro your heart flips around on itself, breaks out of your ribcage and takes a run for it because fuck that.
I love memorable terrifying enemies from non-horror games like that, they really make an impact. I mean you expect it from a horror game but here? In this beautifully rendered green countryside strolling along with my friendly horse? Am I prepared to be scared shitless? Hell no but I love every minute of it
